A couple of holiday makers parasailing over the calm waters of the Broadwater on the Gold Coast, Australia while a large sailing boat cruises along at the same time a seagull is flying past in the foreground.

After nearly a decade hiatus from shooting models I recently photographed an international beauty queen friend of mine and as she was changing outfits, I went to the water and quickly snapped 2 shots of this scene and continued on with our photoshoot.
I never usually check my shots when I'm out shooting until I download them later at night as I want to be pleasantly surprised and it's always nice to relive moments in your downtime so that I stay present and focused in the moment. I thought I saw a bird photo-bomb my shot but because they fly so fast I didn't think I captured it, especially in full flight and it was only later that night I discovered the perfection of the image and how all the elements balance out nicely to create a perfect 'Summer Sports' shot.
