On my last day in New York City I finally got to go up to "Top Of The Rock". The thick fog that enveloped the city for the past 3 days caused zero visibility so I wasn't able to capture the vastness of New York like I wanted to.
I was up there for a while waiting for the clouds to part and fortunately just as I was about to leave for the airport there was a little break of hope as the swirling clouds parted just long enough to for me to capture this amazing view of one of the greatest cities in the world.
I love the painterly effect of the moving clouds while the pink streak hints at a beautiful sunset in the opposite direction.
