-- Artist Notes --
Antelope Canyon is truly a magical place. In fact, it is definitely one of my most memorable in the world and somewhere I hope to visit often.
I only had limited time to capture this image as there were many forces working against me. The cloud coverage was increasing outside causing the sun's rays to be blocked intermittently, crowds were growing behind me, the dust in the air was challenging my equipment and people were unknowingly walking into my shot.

Beautiful capture! Must have been a windy day!

Wonderful capture of the light rays in Antelope Canyon, with such clarity and color in the walls of the canyon, one of my favorite places to visit! Your award is well deserved. (The necessary sand and dust in the atmosphere to produce this kind of ray is indeed a challenge to equipment. I ruined two camera bodies, changing lenses, on a day like that.)
